Atiku, Makinde, Obi, other opposition leaders kick off national summit in Ibadan

Prominent opposition political party leaders are currently holding a national summit at the Government House Banquet Hall, Agodi, Ibadan, Oyo State with a view to ousting President Bola Tinubu from the corridors of power in 2027.

Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde, is was the chief host.

The hall was filled with representatives of participating political parties, including the PDP, ADC, PRP, NNPP, NDC, LP, APP, Accord, APM, AA, DLA, YP, ADP, and ZLP..

Former Minister of Information and National Orientation, Prof Jerry Gana, and Dr. Kashim Ibrahim Imam, were the co-chairmen of the organising committee for the national summit.

The speakers were Prof Chidi Odinkalu, Prof Pat Utomi, Mike Igini, Dr. Kabir Adamu, and Dr. Usman Bugaje.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Senate President and National Chairman of ADC, Senator David Mark; former governors Peter Obi (Anambra), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Olabunsoye Oyinlola (Osun), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Musa Kwankwaso (Kano); and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Yayale Ahmed, are in attendance.

The social activist, Aisha Yesufu, is also in attendance.
