The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has reiterated that using naira notes to create bouquets, towers, or cakes constitutes currency abuse, which is illegal under Section 21 of the CBN Act 2007. Penalty is six months' imprisonment, a fine of ₦50,000, or both.
