UCL: Robert Lewandowski overtakes Messi, Ronaldo’s record after scoring two goals for Barcelona

Barcelona striker, Robert Lewandowski has overtaken the record of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the UEFA Champions League.
Lewandowski scored a brace for Barcelona as they defeated Newcastle United 7-2 in the Champions League Round of 16 second-leg tie at Camp Nou.
However, according to ESPN FC, Newcastle became the 41st different opponent that Lewandowski has scored against in the UEFA Champions League, breaking a tie with Messi (40) for the most opponents to have scored against.
The Poland international is also ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is in third position, having scored against 38 different opponents during his time in Europe.
Meanwhile, at 37 years and 209 days, Lewandowski became the oldest ever scorer in the UEFA Champions League knock-out stage.
