Troops of the Defence Special Operations Force (DSOF) deployed to Afia Market in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State have neutralised one of several suspected armed criminals who were robbing traders.

In a related development, troops of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) stationed at the Ayilamo outpost in Logo LGA have intensified patrols to safeguard farmers. The troops are providing armed escorts to ensure farmers can access their fields without fear of attacks.
