In her remarks, Senator Kingibe accused Minister Wike of failing to prioritize the needs and welfare of the majority of Abuja residents, stating that his administration appears disconnected from the realities faced by the common people in the territory.“Since Wike took over as FCT Minister, life has become tougher for the average Abuja resident,” she said. “

Instead of focusing on critical infrastructure and social services that benefit the wider population, the Minister has concentrated on elite-driven projects that do little to address the core challenges of the people.”

Senator Kingibe called on the Federal Government to ensure that the FCT administration remains focused on inclusive governance and developmental priorities that reflect the interests of all residents, not just a select few.

She also urged Minister Wike to engage more transparently with stakeholders and elected representatives to foster better cooperation and results-oriented leadership in the territory.
