Police arrest three over alleged murder in Benue

The Benue State Police Command has taken three people into custody in connection with the suspected killing of a villager in Vandeikya Local Government Area.
Reports say around 3:30 p.m. on September 27, officers from the Ihugh Division, acting on a tip-off, apprehended Ande Wuna and two accomplices, all residents of Mbangur Village.
Investigators learned that the trio allegedly abducted two villagers, Gedion Bai and Chan Zumbe, accusing them of causing the death of their brother, Tersoo Chichi, through “spiritual means.”
“The suspects tortured Bai until he died and buried him in a shallow grave inside the compound of the prime suspect, Ande Wuna.
“Although they claimed the female victim was later freed, her whereabouts remain unknown,” a source revealed.
The State Criminal Investigation Department has since launched a full probe into the incident.
