PDP Crisis: BoT relocates meeting to Yar’adua center

Members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have relocated their meeting to the Shehu Yar’adua center in the Central Business Area, Abuja.
The BoT was scheduled to meet at the party’s secretariat until security operatives barred them from the venue, citing orders from above.
Among those seen leaving the Wadata Plaza for the new venue, were former Deputy National Chairman of the party, Chief Olabode George, former Ebonyi state Governor, Sam Egwu, and former National Secretary, Ibrahim Tsauri.
The announcement confirming the relocation to the new date, read, “Special Announcement! Change of Venue for the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting.
The notice read, “The Meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) Meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), earlier scheduled to hold by 10Am at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja has been moved to YarAdua Center, Central Business District, Abuja.”
“BoT members, some of whom were reportedly already en route to the original venue, are now being urged to reroute immediately. All BOT members are by this notice advised to proceed to the new venue.”
