NURTW Chief Arrested for Allegedly Beating Dispatch Rider to Death in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a senior member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Shamsideen Adio, over the alleged murder of a dispatch rider.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Tapa Street, Lagos Island, where Adio allegedly assaulted the rider, leading to his death.

The suspect has since been taken into custody as investigations continue.The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer is expected to issue further details as the case progresses.
