Military High Command Refutes Reports of Terrorist Leader’s Surrender
The Military High Command has dismissed as false the trending reports in some sections of the media claiming that notorious terrorist kingpin, Bello Turji, has surrendered to security forces.
According to the Defence Headquarters, Turji—who has been responsible for a series of violent attacks and criminal activities across Zamfara, Kebbi, and parts of Katsina States in the North West—remains at large.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing operations aimed at dismantling terrorist networks and restoring peace to affected communities.
The public is urged to disregard the unfounded reports and rely only on verified information from official security channels.
