I Don’t Want to Leave Any Property for my Children as a Polygamist – Oga Bello

Veteran Nollywood actor, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello, has declared that he has no intention of leaving behind any property for his children despite being a polygamist.

Speaking on the values he upholds as a father, the iconic actor emphasized that he considers quality education the greatest inheritance he can offer.

Oga Bello, who began his acting career in 1964 with the Young Concert Party led by the late Ojo Ladipo (Baba Mero), noted that his passion for education shaped his deliberate effort to ensure that all his children, regardless of their career paths, received a solid academic foundation.“I don’t believe in amassing property for my children.

As a polygamist, I made sure I gave all my children the best education possible. That, to me, is the true legacy,” he said.The respected thespian added that while many expect wealth to be passed down in material form, he believes the empowerment of the mind and intellect through education is more sustainable and impactful.

Oga Bello is the father of several successful children, including award-winning actor Femi Adebayo, who has made significant contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
