House of Faith, Africa’s premier faith-based entertainment ecosystem, officially announced the launch of FaithStream, the continent’s first international streaming platform dedicated to premium Christian content.

The platform, which is confirmed to be made available to the public in January 2026, is set to cater to the massive, underserved market of over 700 million Christians across sub-Saharan Africa and the global diaspora.

The announcement, made at an exclusive event in London, drew attention from key figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry, including EbonyLife Group CEO Mo Abudu, actress and TV host Zainab Balogun, and musician Bez Idakula, who also performed at the event.

FaithStream directly addresses a critical void in the market: the lack of high-quality, culturally authentic, and locally relevant faith-based content. While mainstream platforms prioritise secular programming, millions of African Christians prefer consuming content that reflects their heritage and values, often in their native languages.

The platform’s content strategy is designed to bridge this gap by offering a comprehensive library that includes:

Premium Original Content: Feature films, scripted and unscripted series,
documentaries, and podcasts produced across House of Faith’s multimedia studios in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.

Licensed Library: Extensive collection of faith-based content from leading producers in Hollywood, the UK, Nigeria’s Nollywood, Kenya, and South Africa

Free Access Model: Revolutionary approach providing high-quality faith
entertainment at no cost to users, supported by a sustainable donor-backed model

AI-Enabled Personalisation: Cutting-edge technology delivering personalised
recommendations and enhanced user experiences.

Mobile-First Design: Optimised for emerging market connectivity with offline
download capabilities and multi-device compatibility

Multilingual Support: Content available in multiple languages with subtitle options

Kunle Falodun, Co-founder of House of Faith, described the launch as a historic moment. “We are providing everything faith-driven audiences have been searching for — premium, culturally authentic storytelling that celebrates Christian heritage while meeting the highest standards of production excellence,” Falodun stated. “This is more than a streaming platform; it’s a movement to preserve and elevate faith-centered narratives for generations to come.”

Co-founder Hakeem Condotti highlighted the platform’s technological edge, noting its AI-enabled personalisation and mobile-first design optimised for emerging market connectivity. “Our mobile-first approach ensures that believers in emerging markets — from Lagos to Nairobi to Johannesburg, and throughout the global African diaspora — can access inspiring, uplifting content that strengthens faith, celebrates culture, and connects communities worldwide,” Condotti added.

The London launch event was a star-studded affair, with notable Nigerian personalities in attendance, including ex-Super Eagles and Premier League star Seyi Olofinjana, as well as media and business figures like Akin Salami, Andrew Osayemi, and Busola Adeogun-Phillips.

FaithStream enters a rapidly growing market, with the global Christian streaming industry projected to reach $4 billion by 2028 1. By focusing on African content and offering a free, high-quality service, House of Faith is positioning FaithStream to capture a significant share of this lucrative and culturally vital sector.
