Former APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, Inaugurated as FAAN Board Chairman.

The immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been inaugurated today as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

AMN News reports that the former Kano State governor, who recently stepped down from his role as APC National Chairman, was appointed to the FAAN board in January 2025 by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His appointment is part of a broader exercise that saw new board chairpersons named for 42 federal agencies.
Ganduje’s inauguration marks a significant transition from political party leadership to a key position in Nigeria’s aviation sector, and it is expected to bring his experience in governance and public administration to the operations of FAAN.
Further details regarding the time and venue of the inauguration are expected to be released by the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
