FG Disburses N330bn Cash Transfers to 8.5m Vulnerable Households — Wale Edun

The Federal Government has disbursed N330 billion to 8.5 million poor and vulnerable households across the country under its renewed social protection programme.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja.

He noted that the initiative is part of government’s efforts to cushion the effects of economic hardship and provide relief to citizens most affected by prevailing economic challenges.
