Donko Care Foundation Provides Free Transportation, Expands Humanitarian and Empowerment Initiatives in Old Bende Communities.

The Donko Care Foundation, under the leadership of its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Roseson Obasi, popularly known as Donko, has once again demonstrated its commitment to community development by providing free transportation services to several villages within Old Bende communities.

The transportation initiative commenced on December 22 and concluded on December 27, significantly easing movement for residents during the festive period and offering relief to many families.

Speaking on the initiative, the foundation reiterated its mission to uplift communities through practical and people-focused interventions. Over the months, Donko Care Foundation has implemented a series of impactful programs aimed at youth development and social welfare.

Notably, the foundation recently organized one of the largest grassroots football competitions in the region, with teams drawn from Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi, and multiple communities across Abia State, fostering unity, sportsmanship, and youth engagement.

In furtherance of its empowerment agenda, the foundation trained over 20 beneficiaries in vocational skills such as make-up artistry, gala production, and tailoring, equipping participants with employable skills for economic independence.

Additionally, in the first week of November 2025, the Donko Care Foundation successfully hosted the Aba Marathon, featuring both male and female participants, aimed at promoting fitness, inclusiveness, and community cohesion.

Beyond these initiatives, the foundation has also supported vulnerable individuals through youth empowerment programs, payment of hospital bills, and other humanitarian interventions targeted at improving the quality of life of the less privileged.

The Donko Care Foundation continues to stand as a beacon of hope and development, reaffirming its dedication to sustainable community growth and social responsibility.
