Airstrikes targeting Hamas officials hit Doha in Qatar

Several explosions have been recorded in Doha, the capital of Qatar on Tuesday.

The explosions have left smoke rising over the Katari district of Doha.

The incident was confirmed on X by Axios reporter, Barak Ravid.

Ravid said information from Israeli officials claimed that the explosion was an assassination attempt against Hamas officials.

Reuters also quoted Israel media as saying a senior official from the country claimed that the attack was aimed at top Hamas leaders including Khalil al-Hayya, its Gaza chief.
