ABIRIBA TERTIARY EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS SPONSORED BY THE DIAMOND FRIENDS LEAGUE OF ABIRIBA.
The Diamond Friends League of Abiriba, under the auspices of the Abiriba Communal Improvement Union (ACIU) Education Committee, is pleased to announce ten (10) tertiary education scholarship awards for the 2025/2026 academic session.
These scholarships are intended to promote academic excellence, alleviate financial hardship, and support educational advancement among deserving Abiriba indigenes who have gained admission into Nigerian universities.
Eligible Fields of Study:
- Medicine and Surgery
- Medical Laboratory Technology
- Optomery
- Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Physiotherapy
- Dentistry
- Nursing
- Food Science and Technology
- Information Technology
- Cyber Technology
- Radiology
- Public Health
- Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Computer, Chemical, Petroleum, and Mechanical)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be an indigene of Abiriba
- Must have secured admission into a Nigerian university in any of the listed disciplines.
- Must demonstrate financial need, and academic promise with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
Application Requirements:
Applicants are to submit the following documents:
- A formal application letter containing
- Full Name
- Age
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Ezi/Ikwu/Residential address in Abiriba
- Local Government Area (LGA) of origin.
- A copy of the university admission letter
- A copy of the JAMB result
- A copy of the O-LEVEL result
- A copy of the Post- UTME result (where applicable)
- Two (2) reference letters from reputable referees:
- Referees may include Abiriba titled chiefs, Abiriba-born clergy from established churches, high ranking public/civil servants, university senior staff, lecturers, and professors of Abiriba origin.
- Two (2) current passport-sized photographs.
