The Osun State Government has prohibited the organisation of graduation parties for nursery and kindergarten pupils in both public and private schools across the state.

According to the government, the decision is aimed at curbing unnecessary expenses, reducing undue pressure on parents, and ensuring that schools focus on academic development rather than elaborate social events at the foundational education level.

Authorities warned schools to comply with the directive, stressing that any violation would attract appropriate sanctions.
